Abstract. The benefits of this study consist in clarifying the following fact – any sociological dimension of religious institutions encounters changed, dynamic functional projections, which turned into consolation projects in the age of risk relations. The institutional projections and realizations appear to be secondary. The social dynamics of religious behavior arises as a consequence of sense subjectivation, evaluation, and hence the appearance of value dimension. The combination of spatial and institutional approaches is essential for the analysis of the religious dimension of social protest in the age of social networking. The study deals with the basic concepts for describing the religious behavior in a risk society – religiosity, sociality and spatiality. Ranking rather than ordering religious behavior, the institute turns to be the living space of a religious subject. Moreover, the religious community is the only possible explication of the lifeworld in the social dimension, potentially completely independent on social conditions.

Key words: religion, socialization, spatiality, institutional analysis, religious behavior, risk society.
