Abstract: The article analyses the situation of dissociation between biological and social sides of social system preserved in investigation of various aspects of society and culture. The author offers an idea of ideology specificity as a form of synthesis of biological and social, – sides expressing the integrity of society as a system. In this connection the author substantiates that it is wrong to interpret ideology as a pure product of social relationships on the one hand and as a display of collective unconsciousness on the other hand.
