Abstract. The author has adapted the system of balanced indicators of efficiency as one of the modern methods of strategic management in relation to workers of older age categories in the national agro-food complex. Four blocks of indicators were proposed in the course of the study (finance, customers, business processes, and social resources). Using the developed indicators of efficiency and comparing the planned and the actual resulting data, the leadership of agricultural companies can obtain reliable information enabling them to assess the efficiency of the chosen strategy according to the four interconnected blocks. The author highlights the importance of developing efficiency indicators in the social block for all levels of management, which allows for regular monitoring of the current situation and serves as an efficient tool of managing the organization’s strategy.

Key words: strategic management, system of balanced indicators, social resources, workers of older age, social potential.
