Abstract: The article analyses the Jewish population nuptiality development in one of the poly-ethnic Russia regions – Middle Volga region. The authors have identified the factors contributing to the interethnic marriages number growth and Jewish population assimilation alongside the reasons of Jewish population ratio decrease in the region.
