Abstract: The article is devoted to the problem of sexual culture development in the USSR and Russia. The research is based on the interview with I.S. Kon, the well-known Russian sociologist. The notion "sexual culture" is considered. The main tendencies of sexual culture in the contemporary Russian society are highlighted.
