Abstract: The image is represented as a multiple cultural phenomenon that possesses the facility for mostly concentrated accumulation, objectification and transference of the mental meanings in certain culture and epoch. Image as the complex informational message serves as a link between the "world of codes" and "world of mental meanings". The meanings are materialized in images and become accessible for the human perception.
