Abstract: The article concerns perspectives of social philosophy development in the context of general orientation for development of Russian philosophical discourse, in the communicative space of which conceptual and methodological synthesis is hampered between various approaches. The author considers possible alternative ways of social philosophy development: its positioning as metaphysics of social life and reflection (philosophical examination) of various forms of culture and sociality aimed to reveal basis for spiritual and practical activities.
