Abstract: This paper discusses a new dialogue between Buddhist philosophy and contemporary science. The relation of modern scientific discoveries in astrophysics, particle physics, neuroscience and the ancient oriental wisdom is revealed. The necessity of an ethical component in the cognitive process is underlined.
