Abstract: The article deals with the analysis of the philosophy of symbolism which links the cultural revival with the revival of Hellenism. Special attention is drawn to the most interesting philosophical concepts of outstanding theorists and artistic realists, such as D.S. Merezhkovsky, Vyach. Ivanov, A. Bely.
