Abstract: The article analyses theoretical and methodological backgrounds, thus it was the basis of such sociological concepts as "domestic economy", "housekeeping". The author defines the gender role distribution practices between a man and a woman in the housekeeping. The satisfaction level of a domestic economy income and basic ways of income distribution for keeping consumer family's programs are presented.
