Abstract. Quality of life is one of the core values of modern high-tech society. It is largely determined by economic and social parameters. The introduction of new interdisciplinary concepts makes researchers to conduct philosophical analysis of their content and scope. It allows us to see the notion of “quality of life” from the viewpoint of ethic, ontological, existential, axiological aspects, to formulate its constituents, to identify possible contradictions and paradoxes.

Key words: quality of life, values, safety, freedom, self-actualization, self-development, creativity, ethics.
