Abstract. The article substantiates the idea that during the analysis of economic activity in modern science has to take into account not only purely economic but also cultural, spiritual and moral factors. It is necessary to rely on the moral and ethical values of society in developing the economic goals of economic entities as morality has unifying capabilities required for successful functioning of the economy.
