Abstract. The author attempted to analyze the philosophical concept of transgression as an attribute of modern society. The article suggests the anthropological, socio-philosophical and sociocultural reasons of transgression. The author considered the existence of transgression in key areas of society. The article shows what changes transgression provokes in social order.
