Abstract: In this paper the task of advancing training of an engineer, caused by a high degree of uncertainty of the futureis considered. The student'sadaptation to the technical situations developing in an unpredictable social contextperspective is represented. The special attention is given to the correlation between technical and humanitarian, scientific and unscientificin engineering education.
