Abstract: This article provides an analysis of the problem of value-conceptual and functional content of the process of legal socialization of the personality in the modern socio-cultural space. According to the author, the process of legal socialization aimed at the idea of the legal state, must come from a certain system of values, in the center of which there is a person. After all, socialization is the system of influence on a person occupying a leading position at the stage of development of legal values, without the "implementation" of which the law may not carry out its regulatory function.
