Abstract: The article deals with the analysis of the main problems of the regional labor policy formation and implementation. The author puts forward guidelines aimed at improving regional labor policy taking into consideration local particularities of the labor market. The focal point is to ensure the complex approach to stimulation of employment on the regional scale, the interaction of political, economic elites, and educational institutions. Regional authorities must be oriented to fullpotential and higher human development of the local population.
