Abstract: The authors make an attempt to systematize the existing definitions of the terms used in the socio-economic research areas of nanotechnology. The authors define of some terms from the standpoint of evolutionary-genetic approach. The appearance of the nanoeconomics section in economics and nanoeconomy in theory is justified.
