Abstract. The article deals with the problem of disciplinary status of philosophy of history in the context of linguistic (narrative) "turn". It shows the dependence of the linguistic (analytical) philosophy of history from basic presumptions of speculative metaphysical historiosofia. The author explains the necessity to reconsider the philosophy of history as a discipline in the context of hermeneutic phenomenology. The author makes conclusion that the problems of the philosophy of language are not preceded by the problems of the philosophy of history. In the context of the hermeneutic phenomenology, these are fundamentally equal disciplines that are equally rooted in the existential analytics of Dasein.
