Abstract. The article seeks to demonstrate results of the analysis of ethnic tensions in the Russian-Polish relationships. The category-based analysis was undertaken to identify the patterns of the negative attitude of Polish people towards Russians. In this research secondary data analysis and focus groups were applied. Adult Polish citizens aged over 18 acted as respondents and informants for the research.
